— About
Cameroonian by origin, continental by ambition.
GraceTech was founded in 2014 in Bamenda to do one thing: build the technology spine that African enterprises deserve. Twelve years later, we operate across four cities, with delivery centres in Cameroon and Nigeria.
Built in Cameroon. Built for the continent.
Grace Technologie was incorporated in 2014 by engineers who had worked inside Africa's largest banks, telecoms, and public institutions — and grown frustrated by the gap between what those organisations needed and what the market offered. We started with a single engagement: migrating a regional bank's core systems to a private cloud we designed and built ourselves.
That first project became our proof of concept. By 2017 we had opened our first operations office in Douala's Bonapriso district, serving clients across the CEMAC zone. The model was clear: deep engineering talent, rooted in African context, delivering at the standard of the best firms anywhere.
Embedded delivery. No fly-in consultants.
Every engagement is staffed entirely by permanent Grace Technologie engineers. We do not subcontract, we do not fly consultants in from elsewhere, and we do not deliver a slide deck and leave. Our teams embed with clients for the full lifecycle — from architecture design through go-live and into steady-state operations.
We run a three-practice model: Infrastructure & Cloud, Cybersecurity & SOC, and Software Engineering. Each practice has a dedicated technical leadership team and maintains its own R&D programme, ensuring that the expertise we bring to engagements reflects the state of the art — not knowledge acquired years ago.
The organisations that run the continent.
Our clients are the institutions that underpin African economic life: central banks, commercial banks, telecoms operators, ministries, insurance groups, and the fast-growing technology companies building on top of them. They share one characteristic — they cannot afford downtime, data loss, or security failures.
We work exclusively in sectors where the stakes are high enough to justify the level of rigour we bring. That means financial services, public sector, health, and critical infrastructure. We are not a generalist IT shop. We are a specialist firm with a deliberate, narrow focus — and we believe that focus is what makes us effective.
The next decade is ours to build.
We are building toward a single long-term goal: to be the technology partner that African enterprises reach for when the problem is too important to risk on an unfamiliar name. That means continued investment in our people, our infrastructure, and our research — and it means expanding our geographic footprint as client demand takes us.
Our next phase includes an AI research lab in Yaoundé focused on large-language-model fine-tuning for African languages and business contexts, and a West Africa hub in Lagos that will serve as our gateway to the 200-million-person Nigerian market. The decade of African enterprise is beginning. We intend to be its engineers.
