How we protect your data

Effective 1 May 2026. Applicable to all users of gracetechnologie.com and clients of Grace Technologie S.A.R.L.

1. Who We Are

Grace Technologie S.A.R.L. ("Grace Technologie", "we", "us") is a technology services company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Cameroon, with its registered office at Douala, Littoral Region, Cameroon. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our services. Contact: privacy@gracetechnologie.com.

2. Legal Framework

We process personal data in accordance with Law No. 2010/012 of 21 December 2010 on Cybersecurity and Cybercriminality in Cameroon, the CEMAC data protection guidelines, and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) for data subjects located in the EEA. We apply the higher standard where both frameworks apply.

3. Data We Collect

We collect: (a) Identity & contact data — name, professional email, telephone, job title, company name; (b) Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, session duration, referral URL; (c) Communication data — messages submitted via our contact form or email; (d) Commercial data — service enquiries, proposals, contractual information. We do not collect special-category data (health, biometric, political opinion) through this website.

4. Purposes & Legal Bases

We process your data to: respond to enquiries (legitimate interest / pre-contractual necessity); deliver contracted services (contract performance); send relevant industry insights where you have opted in (consent); comply with fiscal, audit, and regulatory obligations (legal obligation); improve and secure our digital infrastructure (legitimate interest). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

5. Data Retention

Contact enquiries: 3 years from last interaction. Client records: 10 years (Cameroon OHADA accounting obligation). Marketing consents: until withdrawal. Technical/log data: 12 months rolling. Upon expiry, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

6. Transfers Outside Cameroon

Where we engage sub-processors or cloud infrastructure providers outside Cameroon (including the EU/EEA, USA, or other jurisdictions), we ensure appropriate safeguards — including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or equivalent national mechanisms — are in place before any transfer occurs.

7. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure ("right to be forgotten") where no overriding legal basis applies; restrict or object to processing; data portability (GDPR); withdraw consent; lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Cameroon: ANTIC; in the EU: your national DPA). To exercise any right, email privacy@gracetechnologie.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies for session management and, with your consent, analytics cookies (first-party, self-hosted) to understand aggregate website usage. We do not use third-party advertising or social-media tracking cookies. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time via our cookie preferences panel.

9. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures commensurate with the risk: AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, role-based access controls, annual penetration testing, and ISO 27001-aligned information security policies. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on this website. The date of the last revision appears below. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
